Hey, I’m Jaime — the face behind This Is Beauty.
If you’ve found your way here, chances are you’re looking for more than just a beauty appointment. You want to walk into somewhere you feel comfortable, actually enjoy being there, and leave feeling like the best version of yourself.
That’s exactly why I created This Is Beauty.
I’ve worked in the beauty industry for years and, over time, I realised that my favourite part of the job isn’t simply creating beautiful results — it’s the people. The conversations, the laughs, the “OMG I LOVE THEM” moments, the confidence boost after a treatment and, of course, getting to know the women who come back to me again and again.
I’m a bit obsessed with detail. Whether I’m creating a set of brows, mapping out a cosmetic tattoo, working on your skin, waxing, lifting your lashes or treating unwanted hair, I’m not interested in a one-size-fits-all approach. Your face is yours. Your skin is yours. Your lifestyle is yours.
Outside the salon, I’m a mum, wife and business owner — which basically means I spend my days juggling approximately 47 things at once. I’m a coffee lover, a perfectionist, a big believer in a good chat and probably far too invested in whether someone's brows are perfectly balanced. I love what I do, I genuinely love my clients and I feel incredibly lucky that I get to call this my job.

I wanted to create a salon that felt different.
Not intimidating, or clinical.
Just a beautiful, welcoming space where you can relax, have a laugh, ask all the questions you want and know you're in good hands.
I believe beauty treatments should make your life easier, not more complicated. The goal isn't to make you look like somebody else — it's to help you look like you, just a little more polished, refreshed and confident.
That's why every treatment is approached with you in mind. Your features, your skin, your lifestyle and what you actually want.
Sometimes I'll recommend exactly what you've come in for.
And sometimes I'll tell you:
